Purchasing a kit on this Web site is fun, it just takes some patience. Please read the explanation below and then get ready for a little creative adventure!
- Purchasing our kits at this time is a bit more complicated than simple Internet commerce sites. Our kits primarily contain products that are made by artisans, not large manufacturing operations. They each have their own pace, schedule, and scale of business. Each kit contains many suppliers, most of whom make their products by hand.
- We are just starting our table setting kit business and we aren't sure what will be popular so we are not carrying a large inventory yet. Sometimes we will reject an item for some reason and an in-stock kit is then incomplete for up to six weeks.
Customization possible
That said, we offer an opportunity for you to customize your kit! Simply click the email link at the bottom of the page and tell us what kit you would like and if you would like to customize it. Maybe we'll like your ideas and create a new kit with them. We can even offer to have your name on the bottom of the dinnerware or put items in the kit from recently added suppliers.
We only sell kits, not the components separately unless you have purchased a kit and want additional items.
While we encourage customization it does involve a substantial amount of our time and that of our suppliers to check inventory, see what is possible, and work out the logistics. For this effort we need to have a committed buyer. We require a $100 non-refundable deposit which will be applied to the purcahase price when it is calculated after the inquiries.
How to pay
At this time we only accept payments through PayPal. Why PayPal? Because it is convenient for everyone, once you have a personal or business account with them, and they hire the best and brightest security people and have developed outstanding systems to safeguard your account information. We never see your credit card information, only your address for shipping. Opening an account with PayPal is free and easy. There are no fees for you to buy with PayPal. We have been using PayPal for personal and business purchases and sales for years with no problems.
Once we agree on a kit and price, customized or not, then we will send you an email with a PayPal invoice. Simply go to PayPal.com, log in, and pay with your checking account, credit card, or debit card that you have already set up with PayPal. We will then begin the order fulfillment process and ship the kit to you. We prefer shipping with UPS because they are more reliable than USPS. We also shipping insured and that charge is added to the freight charge.
